Haloween,Araw ng mga Patay

It's strange but the term Dia de los Muertos should refer to "All Souls Day" (Nov2). But the Filipinos believe that the BIG day of obligation is on Nov1 which is "All Saint's Day" or Todos los Santos. Hence, people often still erroneously refer to Nov1 as Araw ng mga Patay (All Soul's Day) when it really is Araw ng mga Santos (All Saint's Day).
