I think this is the first anniversary of Mother's death.
Somehow Ive forgotten the exact date.

I spent the night by her bed, she breathed quite easily,
a couple of times I thought If I had any moral courage
I would smother her with a pillow to ease her way,
but that would be arrogance beyond measure
to claim to understand the mysteries.

After dawn she struggled for a few breaths then stopped at 6:34
I said "Take it easy Mother", would like to have read
from the Tibetan book of the dead, except that
Mother might have opened her eyes and said
whats that nonsense.
