Yesterday at work: T. reported that her lump is a tumour, scheduled
for surgery on the 31stSeems like a long wait, even for this countries
decaying hospitals. I told he about my sister J's lumpectomy which went
OK to the extent that J is now approaching a Ph.D.

D, who used to work here, came in with her 6Month old adopted Korean son.
Large, alert, smiling, active, all round happy story. I was somewhat against
the idea of trans-oceanic adoptions, but the infant looks happy.
D & husband named him Johan, plan to inculcate Swedish,French,Aus culture, but
no Korean.
He looks a lot like Yoshi, the half Korean son of my Hipag sisters Asawa.,
(Shay is partner of Rizza, I suppose in Aus you would call them Lesbians.
The term is not used in Luzon, indeed the same-sex is not discussed much.
When Shay gets glammed up there are some jokes about how pretty she looks,
mainly from me I guess.)
D seemed relaxed, even with me. While working here she developed a strong
dislike of me, probably because I didnt pay enough attention. It was spooky
arriving at work for 2 years, saying "Hi D." and being greeted with a grunt.
Obnoxious people have their uses. She made a huge fuss one day about my
persistent bronchial cough, which she found intolerable. It did make me
aware that I should stop cigs completely, and cut back Dairy - the
"Incurable chronic Bronchitis" improved a lot.
