Two points:
1) Climate change says the East side of NZ will be dry for the next thousand years, so get used to it.

A farmers rep said its not a problem because its a waste product... ie we arent encouraging those fat cat Malaysian forest rapists
As a moral argument, thats sort of like a rapist going in for sloppy seconds, saying the rape had already happened, so no harm.
