OK I underestimated the difficulty of getting fire maps up
NASA has reportedly taken pics, but EarthObservatory site is down, and I cant find their pics

Some of the firefront distances are huge eg: the Marysville fire is reportedly now menacing Taggerty which looks >30 km (23km actually)
