I'm always amazed in bushfire season in Aus, that they never have decent maps up. (the 'dse' google earth hack is a joke) if i had a house near tha bush, i would appreciate near-real-time updated fire front maps.

Kellogg, Brown & Root LLC is preparing to plead guilty to violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for promising and paying tens of millions of dollars in bribes to officials in Nigeria in exchange for engineering and construction contracts between 1995 and 2004.
The Justice Department says several of the alleged bribes occurred while Mr. Cheney led Halliburton.
Halliburton Co.(sic) said it has agreed to pay $559 million to the U.S. to settle charges that one of its former units bribed Nigerian officials during the construction of a gas plant.
